GENERAL DUTIES: The Adult Educator is responsible for the implementation of educational activities for a given population and teaching parents their role in their child’s education and how to create a learning environment in the home. The Adult Education Teacher provides assessment and individual educational planning and programming for adult students working to improve their literacy, and home visits and group sessions focusing on the parent’s role in their child’s education.
