Applicant would be expected to: - Work on 2 Pielstick PC 4.2 diesel engines, these are large bore engines (22 inches) rated at 16,290 horse power each. - Under supervision the mechanics would be disassembling 10 cylinder engines, assisting in rigging heads off the engine, and prepare for transportation to shop for reconditioning. - Disassembling the heads, cleaning all parts, reassemble and prepare for transportation. - The mechanics would also be assisting in disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of pistons, connecting rods, cylinder liners, main bearings. - Under guidance the mechanics wo...
